Privacy policy

What we collect, where it goes, and how to have it deleted.

Who we are

Litecycle bv (Antwerp, Belgium) is the data controller for personal data you share with us through this website. For questions or requests: hello@litecycle.ai.

What we collect

  • Contact form (on /en/contact): name, email, company name, type of inquiry, and the content of your message.
  • Application form (on /en/careers/[role]): name, email, phone number (optional), LinkedIn profile (optional), motivation letter, and CV.
  • Anonymous usage statistics: page views, referrer, device type, screen size. No cookies, no IP tracking, no profiles.
  • Ad attribution (UTM tags): if you reach this site through an advertisement, we store the source, campaign, and date locally in your browser (localStorage). When you submit a form, we attach these values so we can correctly attribute leads to campaigns. Clear your browser storage and the data is gone.

Where your data ends up

  • Formspree (United States) — processes and forwards form submissions to our inbox. Their privacy policy: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Plausible Analytics (European Union) — privacy-friendly statistics without cookies or personal profiles. Their data policy: plausible.io/data-policy.
  • Vercel (United States) — website hosting. Log files are limited to what's needed for operation and security.
  • Google Ads (United States) — conversion tracking for our advertising. Only loaded after explicit consent via the cookie banner. On consent, Google sets a single cookie and may receive your click identifier (Google Click ID) and page URL. Their privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

How long we keep your data

  • Contact submissions: up to 24 months, or shorter if the engagement ends.
  • Application submissions: up to 12 months after receipt, unless you explicitly consent to your profile being kept longer.
  • Plausible analytics: up to 24 months, anonymous and not traceable to individuals.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, and the right to object to processing. Email hello@litecycle.ai and we'll respond within one working day.

Security

All connections are HTTPS. We apply HTTP security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options) to mitigate common browser attacks. Incoming CVs and motivation letters are stored in our inbox and not forwarded to third parties.

Cookies & consent

Plausible (statistics) is cookieless. UTM source data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) — strictly functional for lead attribution, not a profile.

Google Ads conversion tracking (gtag.js) sets a single cookie and is only loaded after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. Decline (or ignore the banner) and the Google Ads pixel stays disabled. Your choice is remembered in localStorage. To revoke consent, clear your browser storage for this site and the banner will reappear.
